Home Remedies to Relieve Arthritis
Your joints make you suffer? Here are some natural treatments to relieve your arthritis!
Ginger

Ginger helps in blood circulation
Take half a teaspoon of ginger powder or 35 g (or about six teaspoons) of fresh ginger each day. This plant could reduce the pain of arthritis, probably because of its action on the blood circulation, which helps to remove inflammatory substances of the joints.
Heat and Cold

hot pad or ice cubes what better soothes your pain?
The heat can ease the pain. Use a heating blanket, heater or hot water bottle. Heat the painful joint for about twenty minutes. A hot bath can also relieve you.
The cold also gives good results in case of inflammation. Place ice cubes in a washcloth or towel and apply them on the painful area. You can also use a bag of frozen vegetables (e.g. peas), which will adapt to the shape of the joint.
The Oils

Cod Liver Oil capsules
Eat more fish oil. People who eat high omega-3 (found in oily fish such as mackerel, salmon and sardines) often experience a decrease in joint pain. These fatty acids would help reduce inflammation. You can take them in food form and / or in addition. The idea is to combine the two by eating fatty fish three times a week and taking fish oil supplements at a rate of 2000 to 5000 mg per day. (Caution: consult your doctor before starting supplementation if you are taking medicines to thin the blood)
According to studies, cod liver oil, rich in omega-3 and vitamins A and D, slows the destruction of cartilage, the cause of osteoarthritis, and reduces inflammation and pain factors. The dosage is two capsules of 1 g of cod liver oil per day.
Flaxseed oil also contains omega-3s. Use it to season your salads by limiting yourself to three or four tablespoons a day – beyond that, it has adverse effects on the thyroid.
Oleaginous fruits (especially nuts) are also a good source of omega-3.

Essential Oil
Eucalyptus oil can be effective. Pour a few drops directly on the part to be massaged or in your hands. Do not use a massage glove or hot compress, you could irritate or burn the skin.
Vitamin C

Lemon-Orange-Lime-citrus
Vitamin C and other antioxidants may help reduce the risk of arthritis and osteoarthritis. By destroying free radicals, antioxidants would protect cells (including those in joints) and limit tissue damage. Eat more foods rich in vitamin C: citrus, blackcurrant, kiwi, melon, pepper, new potatoes, and broccoli, among others.
Capsaicin

Capsaicin
Capsaicin is the compound that gives red pepper or cayenne its “spiciness”, is the active ingredient in many analgesic ointments. It interferes with the functioning of the small nerve fibers of the sensory system, which momentarily interrupts the pain. Some ointments (0.025-0.075%) are over-the-counter, others only on prescription. Consult your pharmacist.
Turmeric

Turmeric
Turmeric is another natural remedy for reducing the pain of arthritis as it has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric with a little honey in a glass of hot organic milk. Drink the mixture immediately.
If you do not like milk, you can do it with water. Here is the procedure: add 1 tablespoon of turmeric in 1 liter of water and boil the water for 10 minutes. Drink this liquid once it is cold. Do this process every day.
Honey and Cinnamon

Honey and Cinnamon
They are more effective when in powder form. Since cinnamon is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and honey has great antiseptic properties, it is proven that both foods can help you. When you combine honey and cinnamon, you will have an extraordinary way to treat arthritis in your hands and to relax stiff muscles.
Mix 1.5 teaspoon of cinnamon with 1 tablespoon of honey. It is recommended that this mixture be consumed for a few weeks in a row and in the early morning with an empty stomach to have the best benefits.
Epsom Salt

Take Bath from Epsom Salt
It can relieve pain related to arthritis, inflammation or stiffness. This salt is rich in magnesium which is excellent for bones. You can relieve the pain if you follow these instructions: Mix 2 cups of this salt in bath-hot water. Then soak your hands in this water for 20 minutes to half an hour. Repeat this procedure two to three times a week for a month or until you feel better.
Organic Cider Vinegar

Organic-cider-vinegar
Like all organic foods above, this one will also reduce the pain caused by arthritis and make you feel better. All you need to do is drink a mixture of one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar with a little honey in a glass of warm water.
You can also mix 1.5 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a cup with warm apple cider vinegar and soak your joints in it. Rinse the liquid from your joints after 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure until you feel better or notice improvement.
